Totem Poles Team Challenge

START TODAY AND COMPLETE FOR THE NEXT TWO OR THREE WEEKS OF HOMEWORK
USE ICT WHEREVER POSSIBLE TO PRESENT YOUR WORK AND PRINT OUT COPIES FOR EACH MEMBER OF YOUR TEAM.
IF SOMEONE FAILS TO COMPLETE THEIR TASK THEN THE WHOLE TEAM HAS THAT PART OF THE WORK MISSING AND THEY ARE LETTING THE TEAM DOWN.
Task 1: Title page 'Totem Poles' must include words of the task below:
'from your investigations into the Totem Poles of North America, design and make a section of a totem poles which reflects your interests, family or a native American animal. Your section will be added to the whole class's sections so the base and the top should be the same circumference as those made by everyone else.'
Task 2: Create an illustrated A4 page about the geography of where totem poles can be see. (map? with notes about tribes etc with small thumbnail pictures?)
Task 3: Create an illustrated A4 page about the history of totem poles.
Task 4: Create a page of different totem pole images with labels and addresses of websites that have been used
Task 5: For individuals who might like to add pages of further research to boost their own marks: Create a page explaining in your own words why totem poles were made, what was their purpose.
