Green Man.

In this project we will be looking at the proportions of the face and will use a variety of materials.

 We will be observing the changes in the face when different expressions are used

 

Aims:  

To develop our observation skills.

                   To develop our knowledge of different media.

                    To use our sketchbooks to work though ideas.

           To translate our designs into a 3D model

 
Above is an example of a relief sculpture of a green man. We will be using clay to produce our interpretation

It is important when assessing any art, craft or design piece, to put it into its context. As well as developing our drawing skills we will research into what people made these sculptures and why. Do these pieces still have relevance today or do they belong to another era.
